Casecanva (“Casecanva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and online store, including its content, features, functionality, products, tools, and services (together, the “Services”). Our Services are hosted and powered by Shopify, which provides the technology that lets us run our online store and deliver our Services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you:

  • create or use an account;
  • place an order, or purchase, return, exchange, or cancel a product;
  • contact us or subscribe to our communications; or

6Our relationship with Shopify

Our Services are hosted on Shopify’s platform. Shopify may collect and process personal information relating to your use of our Services to provide, maintain, secure, and improve its platform and services. Information submitted through our Services may be transmitted to and processed by Shopify and other service providers, including providers located outside your country of residence.

Shopify provides the technology infrastructure that powers our online store and checkout.

Shopify supports security, infrastructure, and related platform services for our store.

Enhanced features

Shopify may process information to provide analytics, personalization, and other platform features.

7Third-party websites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, social media platforms, or other services. Once you leave our Services and access a third-party platform, that platform’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

Casecanva does not control, and is not responsible for, the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or services that we do not operate. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

8Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed toward children and are not intended for individuals below the applicable legal age for using online shopping services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

Parent or guardian requestIf you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, a parent or legal guardian can contact us at hello@casecanva.com and we will take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Protection works in layers:

  • Encrypted connectionsOur store uses HTTPS (TLS) to encrypt information sent between your browser and the store, including at checkout.
  • Payment securityPayment card details are handled by our payment providers, and Shopify’s platform is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. We generally do not see or store your full card number.
  • Platform safeguardsShopify provides infrastructure, monitoring, and platform-level protections that support the security of our store.
  • Access controlsWe work to limit access to personal information to what is needed to run the store, provide support, and fulfill your orders.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive or confidential information through unsecured communication channels, and keep your account login details private.

10How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, why it was collected, and applicable legal requirements.

Opting out of targeted advertising does not stop all advertising. You may still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on the sharing described in this policy.

13Marketing communications

14Regional privacy notices

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to object to certain processing, the right to request restriction of processing, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Where processing is based on consent, withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Contact details for EEA authorities are available from the European Data Protection Board. In the United Kingdom, the authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

United States

If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the rights described in Section 11, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and of activities considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (see Section 12). Where required, we treat the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request. If we decline all or part of a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.

Other regions

If you live in another region, such as Canada, Australia, or Brazil, you may have similar rights under local law. Contact us at hello@casecanva.com and we will help you exercise the rights available to you.

15International data transfers

Because we work with Shopify and other service providers, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside the country where you live. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including recognized contractual or other legally approved mechanisms.

For transfers from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, applicable safeguards may include Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law.
